THANK YOU! That was it. Most of our older servers were Athlon MP or XP 
based, so we've got a lot of K7 configured kernels. Hopefully this thread 
will be of help to more folks than just me.

As for it being your fault, that isn't true... it would be the fault of 
whomever re-assigned you.
