You don't have usb in guest without configuring it.
I experienced that I can only use it for the mouse, trying to use an
usb stick, and forward an usb port resulted in an incorrect working
guest. But it may work better for others. Asking on this list I got no
positive reply that someone successfully uses it.

Which soundhw setting do you use?
Only the es1370 works, If I remember correctly, I have to look it up.
But I am sure, the other one gave me "couldn't find driver" or
something like that errors.
