Since you brought up the topic, does anyone know of a guide to P2V'ing in XEN?

my fault,

that procedure works fine,

the problem was caused by two lines into /etc/iftab

eth0 mac 00:18:8b:f9:0a:50 arp 1
eth1 mac 00:18:8b:f9:0a:51 arp 1

which were enforcing wrong values on the eth0 interface
