I've made different benchmarks with bonnie. I have attached results of 
dom0 and domU. Each domain has his own harddisk, which are attached to a 
3ware raid controller. dom0 has /dev/sda and /dev/sdb, while /dev/sdb is 
exported to domU as /dev/sda.
