I'm sorry, but I don't agree.  First, the tools are all Debian packages,
and integrate seamlessly into the rest of the distribution; they can
also be upgraded when later the distribution provides these tools as
part of the current release, since these are essentially backports from
the unstable part of Debian.  Secondly, anyone using Xen with any
distribution for serious purposes is likely to want to recompile the
kernel, if only to change some of the built-in defaults, for example,
in my case, the table size for ipvs.  The point is, I have not compiled
Xen from source; I have compiled Debian packages for Debian.  I have
compiled the _kernel_ from the patched source available from kernel.org
with the Xensource patch, but I have done it by creating a Debian kernel
source package.

My Xen machines use hundreds of packages, and the ones compiled by me
are only four or five.  If someone else is looking for a pretty standard
way of getting 32 under 64 (32 bit domU under 64 bit dom0), so far as I
know, no distribution does this without the administrator compiling
something or other.
