Same is true for the PV drivers from Novell (that's the third solution out
there). They are also commercial, but they also have the hiding problem in
Centos.

Hopefully 5.2 will fix that (don't know, the beta release notes don't mention
it, but the beta release notes for RHEL 5.2 seem to be not in sync with their
code anyway. 

Do you know if there is a patch CentOS 5.0/5.1 for either the GPL or Novel drivers to fix the issue you mentioned. I tried both of them sometime back when I was doing some research but did not achieve any significant performance benefit in disk I/O or network. I left it at that thinking I must have done something wrong.
