Fair enough. All I can say is that (on Linux anyway) you can mostly
mix-and-match hypervisor and kernel (both dom0 and domU) versions,
provided they're compatible enough. For example, RH's kernel-xen is
built against a modified Xen-3.1.2 sources, while Gitco's Xen 3.3.1
RPM is (obviously) built from Xen-3.3.1 sources.

This is NOT the case on Solaris dom0 though.

In short, use whatever kernel that works :)
