Could you try to build Xen 4.0-rc8  & Pvops kernel by hands on Debian Lenny ( Squeeze would be better)
View just as sample , referencing pvops kernel checkout as well  :-

Hello,

i´ve got a new Intel Nehalem server with an i7-920 CPU.

I installed a Debian Lenny OS ...

Now, i cannot find any images for hypervisor or kernel that seem to be runable on that hardware.

:-O

All of that is AMD:

apt-cache search hypervisor
linux-image-2.6-xen-amd64 - Linux 2.6 image on AMD64, oldstyle Xen support
linux-image-xen-amd64 - Linux image on AMD64, oldstyle Xen support
xen-hypervisor-3.2-1-amd64 - The Xen Hypervisor on AMD64
linux-image-2.6.26-1-xen-amd64 - Linux 2.6.26 image on AMD64, oldstyle Xen support
linux-image-2.6.26-2-xen-amd64 - Linux 2.6.26 image on AMD64, oldstyle Xen support
xen-linux-system-2.6.26-1-xen-amd64 - XEN system with Linux 2.6.26 image on AMD64
xen-linux-system-2.6.26-2-xen-amd64 - XEN system with Linux 2.6.26 image on AMD64

So, my question is, are there difficulties to run Xen on my hardware?

Is there a way to get pre-compliled hypervisor and kernel of my OS?

Should i better change the OS?

Any other experiences with the hardware and Xen?

Thank you for any information that gets me to finally run Xen on the server :)
