Test mode has to stay on ever after as the drivers are not signed by
Microsoft. If you turn it off the system may not boot (probably won't
boot).

GPLPV uses version 1.9 of the Windows WDF (Windows Driver Framework).
When installing GPLPV for the first time, the following could happen:

1. No WDF already installed (eg XP or 2003). WDF is installed and
activated and the drivers work immediately, and become active on the
next boot.

2. Same WDF already installed (eg Windows 7 and 2008 R2 ship with 1.9).
The drivers simply install and work immediately, and become active on
the next boot.

3. Different WDF already installed (eg Vista and 2008 ship with 1.7, or
XP if other drivers have been installed that use a previous version of
WDF). WDF is updated, the drivers are installed but don't work until a
reboot. On reboot, xenpci then enumerates the other drivers (xennet,
xenvbd, etc) and they start, but don't become active until the following
reboot.

So for XP (no WDF), Windows 2003 (no WDF), Windows 7 (same WDF), and
2008 R2 (same WDF), only the one reboot should be required. For Vista or
2008 (downlevel WDF), two reboots will be required.

In your case, for Windows 2008 R2 x64, the following should be done:

1. turn on test mode
2. reboot
3. install drivers
4. reboot

That should be it. The install should only take a few seconds. If it's
not happening pretty much exactly like that then there is something
different between your config and mine.
