Xen unstable already has upstream QEMU support:

VirtIO support is also work in progress:

XCP/XenServer already have Open vSwitch support. Open vSwitch is not
yet upstream yet, but once it is KVM and Xen (hypervisor) will easily
be able to have the support for it. People use Open vSwitch with Xen
(hypervisor) and KVM manually already.

Thanks,
Todd
