Xen v3.4 and higher/newer works on a 86_64 arch machines, ONLY. If you have a i386/686 arch system, it won't work (you won't be able to get the bridge to work when creating a new DomU Guest). In addition, the kernel throws many error messages either about the hardware, or the system. Jeremy's kernel for i686 must be modified and updated to work properly on a i686 system.
