0x10000000 != 8G so maybe that's not the right parameter name, but I
thought so.

If that doesn't help then I'm afraid I'm all out of ideas.

Perhaps experiment with upgrading the dom0 to e.g. the Wheezy hypervisor
+ kernel and/or the Wheezy dom0 kernel and see if that helps.
