They appear to have stopped even trying to make the recent binary
drivers work in dom0. I mentioned this before last year, but the
relevant discussion on the Nvidia forum is here:

It doesn't affect passthrough - it merely means that Nvidia binary
drivers don't work for me in dom0 on newer GPUs, and I wanted to
switch to a GT 630 (single slot, fanless) for my dom0.
