Thanks for your response. I am running gentoo hardened. Tried default profile but

still the same issue. I saw that a few people experienced the same issue:

But their solutions did not work for me. Kernel boots fine, get's to the login prompt

for a few seconds then restart...

Any help is greatly appreciated.

PS Can provide required info (ie, kernel version, etc.. Âon request.)
