The PVFB is not a PCI device, so it won't show up in lspci. From the screenshot it looks like xen-fbfront is setup correctly since you have a text console on it. But do you have a /dev/fb0 device node in the domU? Do you have the xorg drivers for "fbdev" (which is the driver part of the X server which knows how to drive a /dev/fb0 device)Âinstalled in your domU? Does the Xorg.0.log log file referenced in your screenshot have any further information? This should be the first place to look for more clues. I suggest you post the whole thing to the list. I don't know but I suspect the use of "vesa" in your xorg.conf is wrong. In fact I understood that modern Xorg was capable of auto probing most things and that an xorg.conf wasn't often needed, but this may differ from distro to distro etc and I don't know if it applies to Ark or not. http://wiki.xen.org/old-wiki/xenwiki/VirtualFramebuffer.htmlÂis very out of date, but at the bottom it has an example xorg.conf which looks more like the sort of thing I would expect to be needed (in the case where anything is needed at all).
