[Xen-users] Stuck with Xen 4.9 on ubuntu 18.04 ( from network install )

Hi all,

I have just installed Ubuntu 18.04 64bits from a network install ( mini.iso ) on a dell poweredge r200 ...

Then, I have installed xen ... and created a xenbr0 bridge

So, after a reboot I get :

root@ubuntu1:/etc/xen# xl list
Name                                        ID   Mem VCPUs    State    Time(s)
Domain-0                                     0  3962     2     r-----    6479.4

Then, I have tried to start a VM with the following configuration :

firmware_override="/usr/lib/xen-4.9/boot/hvmloader"
memory = 1000
builder = "hvm"
me = "mini"
name = "mini"
vcpus = 1
acpi=1
apic=1
vif = [ "type=ioemu, bridge=xenbr0" ]
disk = [ 'file:/data/xen/preprod.img,ioemu:hda,w' ]
ne2000=0
boot="c"
audio=1
soundhw='hda'
sdl=0
vnc=1
vncunused=0
stdvga=1
serial="pty"
usb=1
keymap='fr'
usbdevice = 'tablet'

But when I "create" the instance, I get the following error message :

libxl: error: libxl_create.c:554:libxl__domain_make: domain creation fail: Invalid argument
libxl: error: libxl_create.c:923:initiate_domain_create: cannot make domain: -3

What does it mean ? How could I get more information about this problem ?

Thanks a lot for your help

Stéphane

PS: All works very well on a xubuntu 18.04 64bits.
