Thanks,

Me? No. But if I get the right SUSE people on board, I believe we could get that.

Okay, are there SUSE Cloud, Xen, OpenStack users that we know of too?

Thanks,

Sarah,

IMO, this is a topic we should target for reporters at some point, but this isn't the piece for it. This piece does reveal some chinks in the armour, things that need some fixing so that Xen Project is easy to use in OpenStack. But I could see another piece down the road which would make sense to pitch: SUSE Cloud, Xen Project, and OpenStack. I'm trying to get the right SUSE person involved enough so we can get that piece written.

Russ,

I haven't had a chance to read the post yet. Do you think it has any pitch potential and we should target a few reporters with the post?Â

If so, please share your thoughts and points to be sure to include in a pitch. I'll also review now too.

Thanks,

We have a blog ready for publication: "Using Xen Project on OpenStack 'Juno' via Libvirt."Â It is basically Xing Lin's wiki page (with the changes suggested by our team) recast as a blog:

https://blog.xenproject.org/?p=10231&preview=true

The blog is an important piece, since there is almost nothing describing the use of Xen Project in OpenStack. As the Test Day has been postponed until next week, I don't believe we have any other blog scheduled this week. It is a holiday in the US on Thursday and Friday this week (and, in some places, Wednesday is a partial work day), so if we want to publish it this week, I suggest we do it Tuesday (today in Europe; tomorrow in the Americas as I write this). If we choose to wait, I suggest setting next Monday as the publication date, since we will need to publish a blog for Test Day by Wednesday next week (if Test Day goes as planned on Thursday).

IanJ, as acting blog czar, what do you say?
