= Agenda =
== Bandwidth Problems ==
Ian: asked Lars 4 the spec
Paul: believes we have 4 MBits/s and confirmed is what we should have 4 MBits
Ian: believes we should be fine with 4 MBits/s
Ian: initially enquired because of an issue
Ian: later evidence suggests that this was maybe not a bandwidth issue
Ian: possible that the issue was maybe on the FreeBSD server side
Paul: COLO provider has not found an issue and verified that we had 4 MBits/s
**Agreement: wait and see whether anyone else reports a problem**
== RimavaX ==
Ian: have experienced a failure with Rimava
Ian: has not been abel to investigate yet
Paul: asked to provide timestamps
**Agreement: Ian will send an email when looking at it**
== OsloletaX ==
Ian: Dell seem to go round in circles
Ian: Is that your impression?
Paul: Believes that they have not actually done anything till now and were merely communicating with us in order to keep us happy. They seem to have a machine to reproduce the issue now
Ian: Believes that the issue requires that there is networking traffic to reproduce
ACTION: Paul is going to prod DELL again
**Agreement: Ensure that there is progress and keep pressure up by chasing them**
== BaroqueX ==
Paul: agrees that we swapped the board on the wrong machine (was identified by label)
Paul: did upgrade both machines to latest BIOS
Ian: Have you double check the wiring
Ian: Did you collect MAC addresses via VGA console?
Don: Used serial port and ipconfig
Ian: It is possible that the labels on the front of the machines are swapped over
Ian: Identified the broken machine via the MAC address, also pretty confident that the PDU wiring is correct. Serial connectivity is likely right.
Paul: Believes that the labelling is wrong
ACTION: Paul will check the wiring and labelling (serial and PDU wiring)
Paul: Intel is sending back the board that we sent, but it may be lost in the system
Paul: Intel will send a duplicate brand new board if they can't find it
** Agreement: Based on the output, we will take action going forward**
** Agreement: In future Paul/Don to look up MAC address from machine name. But Ian is happy to quote MAC address in future. **
== Windows Licensing ==
Ian: Feels uncomfortable with the vagueness of the MS proposal
** Action: Lars ask LF to clarify some questions and pull Ian into the conversation - maybe leading to a quote **
