I did find something odd that may be causing the problem. [root@xen etc]# xenctl physical grant -psda2 -n5 Granted physical access to domain 5 [root@xen etc]# xenctl physical list -n5 Could not get extent list using: /install/bin/xi_phys_probe 5 I'm not really sure what that means, but I take it it's possible that on boot it can't access sda2 because it doesn't have access.
