Seriously? Let's tackle this one by one. Are you going with PV or HVM? Here's what I use for Windows 2003 HVM #======================================== memory = 1000 vif = [ 'mac=00:16:3E:78:A8:01, bridge=br129, script=vif-bridge, vifname=win2003-eth0' ] disk = [ 'tap:tapdisk:aio:/z/win2003-template/hda.img,xvda,w', 'file:/z/iso/w2k3/w2k3.iso,hdc:cdrom,r', ] boot="cd" device_model = '/usr/lib64/xen/bin/qemu-dm' kernel = "/usr/lib/xen/boot/hvmloader" builder='hvm' sdl=0 vnc=1 vnclisten="0.0.0.0" #vncunused=0 vncpasswd='' stdvga=0 serial='pty' localtime=1 usbdevice='tablet' acpi=1 apic=0 pae=0 vcpus=1 cpus="1-7" cpu_cap=100 cpu_weight=128 #======================================== Here's what I use with Ubuntu Lucid amd64 PV #======================================== memory = "512" vif = [ 'mac=00:16:3E:43:45:13, bridge=br129, vifname=ubuntu-pv-eth0' ] disk = [ 'tap:tapdisk:aio:/z/ubuntu-template/xvda.img,xvda,w', ] kernel = "/usr/lib/xen/boot/pv-grub-x86_64.gz" extra = "(hd0,0)/grub/menu.lst" cpus="1-7" vcpus=1 #vfb=['vnc=1,vnclisten=0.0.0.0'] #======================================== That's the running config. For installation config file, I use Ubuntu's network boot kernel and initrd (no need for "extra" line during installation). -- Fajar _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users
