Straightforward installation, then you just point it at the box and it monitors everything it can grub out of snmpd, plus there's an optional unix agent to get some stuff from apps like apache, mysql, bind, and I'm pretty sure, xen (if you are using libvirt). This thing is as close to plug and play as I've ever seen.
