Hi,

the hint with the network manager solved the issue. I have simply removed 
network-manager completely.

Thanks for the tip with Ubuntu 14.10 not being LTS. Its for a home-server at my 
house so I just took the latest.

Stopping DHCP was not an option, having it on this HVM is the whole point 
because it acts as domain controller. The second DHCP I only activated 
temporarily, of course I have only one active DHCP.
