Huh, thats right. I'm seeing a 4294 second jump on the hosts that jump an hour.
It happens with both xm shutdown and xm destroy.

# while true; do date +%s.%N; done
...
1096481915.880540000
1096481915.884033000
1096481915.887550000
1096486208.893708000
1096486208.897248000
...


This experiment also showed that once the date jumps, time stops advancing
in xen0.  So checking the date after the fact would show different errors and
after 71 minutes the error would be gone. 

# while true; do date '+%c %s'; sleep 1; done
