Re: [Wg-test-framework] Notes from Dec 10 meeting with AllNet

I would rather trust Chis to make it correctly and test them than depend on
a third party. Besides I'm trying to actually stay on schedule and who
knows how long it will take to get new adaptors back and then test them.

On a brighter note. Chris, George and I were able to move the PDU's, Main
Servers, 8 and 48 port switch, 4 test servers and the Comptrol gear to the
COLO and install it all in the Rack. IT test fine with 1 exception. The
gateshead Comptrol configuration does not seem to be working. I will have
to go back there tomorrow and see if it is merely a connection problem. We
were able to access the outside world from both servers. Don was able to get
in.

Access is available via the IP scheme I sent you.

Newcastel is connected to Gateshead via newcastel's Comtrol serial panel
port 1 to gateshead comm1 and Gateshead is connected to Newcastle via the
serial port as well.

We also connected 1 test server to each main server.

The 8 port switch is splitting the external IP's. The 48 port switch is
configured as 2 VLANS. VLAN1 = Ports 1-24, VLAN2 = Ports 25-48.

I made my scheduled installation date. We are still working on the test
servers.

I need the ARM server box now. I left 4U between the Main servers and do
not want to install the additional servers until I have the ARM server. I
don't want to have to move 26 servers because we did not have enough room
for the ARM server.

Wouldn't be easier to send the rest back and get the right thing?
