We took a known good cable and adaptor and swapped it with the suspected one. We got the same results. It was read only. We swapped Comtrol ports on the off chance that it was a concentrator problem. We still got the same results. It looks like the Serial port might be in compatible or not working properly. Don was going to work on it further. > > Per my cheatsheet, elbling0 and pinot0 are OK, elbling1 and pinot1 are > having c/c/d issues. Yes, sorry, that was me transcribing Ian's writing into my (worse) writing and then being unable to read it today. pigato should have been pinot indeed. > > > Also there is an issue with rimava{0,1} (sp?) Paul Writes: I have the new server boards on order we are waiting for them. I sent the white box AMD servers back to my supplier, and I will send the new AMD chips to them as soon as I get them. He will rebuild the servers with the new Supermicro motherboards selected and send them back to me for bench testing. He is only 1 day away so the transferring back and forth is not time consuming. > > > > Lastly on my list is the luxelrebe{0,1} BIOS serial redirection issue. > > Which I have a mail about elsewhere.
